Just taught my last ever class in Foundations of Biology. With handshakes and thank you’s they walk out the door into the world to change themselves and those around them. I guess it’s time that I move on too? I’m sure at some point in the next few months I’ll get into the mindset of being a student, but for now I’ll just remain in slight panic of the uncertainty of the next time I get to step foot into a classroom as a teacher again. *le sigh*
All love is created equal
If I have have a child and he turns out to be homosexual, I hope he doesn’t ever announce it. Not because I’m homophobic or hateful, but because he shouldn’t have to. I didn’t have to declare my heterosexuality, why should anyone else have to make a big deal about their sexuality, simply because they are not attracted to the opposite sex?
